A female pilgrim from Niger state, A’isha Alhassan is dead.
In a statement by, Hassana Isah Media Aide to the Executive Secretary, Niger state Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board on Tuesday, the deceased, an indigene of Mokwa Local Government of the state, died on Monday at King Faiz Hospital in Makkah.
According to her, late Aisha died of multiple organ failure.
The Media Aide said the deceased’s funeral prayer was conducted at the Masjid Al Haram at the early hours of today (Tuesday).
“It was attended by among others, the Director Operations of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board Alh Attahiru Bala Dukku, her Son, and the deceased brother as well as other officials from the State.
“She has since been buried according to Islamic injunction,” she said in the statement.
