The Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board says it will close payment of 1.918 million naira increment for this year’s Hajj on Wednesday 3RD April, 2024.
The Statement from the board indicated that those who were yet to pay their balance should do so on or before the close of work (3rd Wednesday 2024) or risk the chance of performing this year’s Hajj.
According to the statement, the payment which was initially supposed to end Thursday last week was extended due to the intervention of the Nasarawa State Governor and other stakeholders.
The Statement quoted Executive Secretary of the board Mallam Idris Almakura calling on all hajj Coordinators from Nasarawa State to as a matter of urgency contact their pilgrims who were yet to pay their balance to do so before it is too late.
Almakura appreciated the support of the Govt and people of Nasarawa State over the sudden increment of hajj fare by NAHCON.
