The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has commenced a statewide tour of Hajj Induction Courses at various centers to ensure proper guidance and preparation for intending pilgrims.
Representing the Director General, the Director of Education and Enlightenment, Alhaji Murtala Lawan Sani, urged all intending pilgrims to submit their international passports before the stipulated deadline to facilitate smooth processing.
Speaking at the event, the Guidance and Counseling Coordinator, Hajiya Hindatu Muktar, emphasized the importance of adhering to the laws and regulations of both Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, urging pilgrims to conduct themselves responsibly.
Similarly, the Health Matters Coordinator, Alhaji Bello Abdulkadir Karaye, cautioned pilgrims on the use of medication while in Saudi Arabia. He reassured them that the Kano State Government, under the leadership of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has made adequate provisions for their welfare and essential needs.
Other key speakers at the event included the Director of the Hajj Savings Scheme, Hajiya Batulu Isa Waziri, the Deputy Director of Operations, Alhaji Muktar Yahaya, and the Deputy Director of Mobilization, Alhaji Faruk Musa Sani, who all reiterated their commitment to ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj exercise.
As part of the ongoing tour, the delegation visited Tudun Wada and Doguwa Local Government Areas to oversee the induction process and interact with intending pilgrims.
