The Kogi State Hajj Commission has announced the commencement of screening for intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj, following the completion of mandatory medical examinations across the state.
In a statement issued in Lokoja, the commission invited all intending pilgrims who successfully attended the medical exercise to converge at its headquarters for screening. The exercise is scheduled to hold on February 3 for Kogi Central, February 4 for Kogi East, and February 5 for Kogi West, while a mop-up session will take place on February 6, 2026.
The commission described attendance as mandatory and called for the cooperation of all intending pilgrims to ensure a smooth process
