The fifth and final batch of Bauchi State pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj are currently collecting their Nusuk cards at their hotel in Madinah ahead of their departure to Makkah on Friday.

The group, which marks the last flight of Bauchi pilgrims for this year’s exercise, has completed four days of Ziyarat in Madinah, visiting all five designated holy sites.

Officials said the pilgrims are in good health and have concluded their orientation programme without incident.

Hajj guide and support officer, Imam Dayyabu Afakalla, stressed the importance of the Nusuk card in the 2026 Hajj operations, noting that “no Nusuk, no Hajj.”

He confirmed that all Bauchi pilgrims who arrived since the first flight have successfully collected their cards.

Imam Afakalla commended Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for providing the necessary support to ensure a smooth exercise for the state’s contingent.

The departure of the fifth batch will conclude the movement of Bauchi pilgrims from Madinah to Makkah, where they will join other Nigerian pilgrims to perform the main rites of Hajj.
