Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board ‘ll See Phaselifting — Oyo Government

Oyo state government has called on the Muslim Community to be rest assured of better phaselifting of the state Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslims Wing).

 

The assurance came at a thanksgiving Service for the new Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheik Hashim Abdulwahab Atere held at Oja’ba Multipurpose Hall, Ibadan on Thursday.

 

In his welcome address, Turaki Adini of Oyo State, Mogaji Adanla Kareem commended the administration of governor Seyi Makinde for always prioritizing the Muslim Community.

 

Mogaji Adanla in his message called for co-operation of every Muslim member in the state to promote the Board.

Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde represented by the newly appointed chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslims Wing), Sheik Hashim Abdukwahab Atere stated that government has put plans in place to give the Board a new phase lift and hoping that Alakia International Airport takes care of the next Hajj pilgrims.

 

Earlier, the Grand Imam of Oyo State, Sheik Abubakry Agbotomokekere who described the appointment as a huge prize to the entire Muslims community to promote religious developments.

 

The event had in attendance wife of PDP Patron in Oyo state, Mrs Bosede Modinat Adedibu, Fmr. PDP spokesperson, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, Imams, among others.
