The Chairman of NAHCON Professor Abdullahi Usman led his management team on a courtesy call to the Oba of Lagos in his palace today in Lagos. The visit is in continuation of engagement with hajj stakeholders across the country.
During his remarks, NAHCON Chairman Professor Abdullahi Usman sought the support of the traditional rulers in educating pilgrims about the Hajj rites and the civic responsibilities associated with them. He also asked the Oba to help tell the Muslim Umma about the Hajj Savings Scheme and its importance in addressing the challenges facing the Hajj operation in Nigeria.
Responding, the Oba Rilwan Babatunde appreciated NAHCON for the visit, calling on the Chairman, his team and other Hajj managers to discharge their duties in line with the teaching of Islam.
