NAHCON INSPECTION TEAM VISITS TARABA STATE MUSLIM PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARD

A delegation from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has visited the Taraba State office of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board as part of preparations for the issuance of 2026 and 2027 Hajj licenses.

 

The delegation, led by Alhaji Aliyu M. Ali, Head of Licensing at NAHCON, and Alhaji Abubakar Badamasi Barde, NAHCON Zonal Coordinator, was received by the Acting Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Tanko.

 

During the visit, the delegation was taken round the Board’s offices and ICT facilities.

Alhaji Abubakar Tanko expressed confidence in the Board’s ability to successfully carry out the 2026 Hajj operation, citing its robust infrastructure and capacity.

 

Responding, Alhaji Aliyu M. Ali commended the Board for its achievements and urged the management to intensify efforts to meet the new Hajj policies set by the Saudi government.

He emphasized the need for the Board to be proactive in responding to the changing landscape of Hajj operations.

 

The visit also featured a question-and-answer session, where issues related to Hajj operations and preparations were discussed.

 

The NAHCON delegation’s visit is part of efforts to ensure that states are adequately prepared for the upcoming Hajj season.
