The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has unveiled the Hajj Companion App, a digital innovation designed to improve services and support for Nigerian pilgrims during the 2025 Hajj.
According to NAHCON, the Hajj Companion is an all-in-one mobile application that integrates four key features: a GPS navigator, an E-directorate contact system, a complaint management platform, and a 24/7 call center.
The GPS feature provides precise directions to pilgrims’ accommodations across Madinah, Makkah, and the holy sites of Masha’ir. The E-directorate offers direct access to contact details for all relevant stakeholders, including NAHCON staff, National Medical Team members, state officials, and tour operator representatives.
The Complaint System allows pilgrims and stakeholders to file service-related issues directly from their devices, eliminating the need for in-person visits. Additionally, the Call Centre component ensures round-the-clock access to NAHCON’s helpline for real-time assistance.
The Commission said the app reflects its commitment to leveraging technology to improve pilgrims’ experience and ensure effective service delivery throughout the Hajj exercise.
