Nasarawa Pilgrims’ Boss to Immigration Service: Accord priority to passport of Hajj 2022 intending pilgrims

As part of the preparation for the 2022 hajj, Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and the State Immigration office, the Executive Secretary of the board, Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura has visited the Comptroller Immigration, Nasarawa State Command Mr Oshoro OE in his office in Lafia.

 

According to Almakura, the visit was aimed at cementing the existing relationship between the board and the immigration office and the board, especially during the Hajj preparation.

 

Almakura appealed to Mr Oshoro to use his office to accord more priority to the passport of intending Pilgrims to fast track hajj preparations.

 

Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura told the Comptroller that Governor Abdullahi Sule is appreciating the efforts of immigration and urged them to sustain the tempo.

 

In his remark, Comptroller Immigration in Nasarawa State, Mr OE Oshoro thanked the Executive Secretary for the visit, saying the immigration office will continue to support the activities of the Board for the interest of pilgrims in the state.

 

Oshoro affirmed that Immigration has been a strong partner to the board and promised to direct special recognition for pilgrims in the state.

 

The visit was climaxed with the presentation of the Hajj seat by the Executive Secretary to the State Immigration office in recognition of their contribution to the state.
