The Niger State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board has set Sunday, June 14, 2026, as the start date for the return airlift of pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following the successful completion of the 2026 Hajj.
The Board stated that the return flight represents the start of plans to ensure the safe, orderly, and timely transportation of all Niger State pilgrims back to Nigeria.
Pilgrims are advised to strictly follow all official guidelines and fully cooperate with relevant officials to ensure a smooth and hassle-free return operation.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, commended the pilgrims for their patience, discipline, and exemplary conduct throughout the pilgrimage.
He expressed appreciation for their cooperation and wished them safe journeys back home.
He further assured that details of subsequent return flights would be communicated to the pilgrims and the general public in due course.
