Niger State Government is set to host the inaugural flight of the 2025 Hajj Exercise in Nigeria.
This is due to the pace the State Government has set in terms of the timely preparation and proper planning for the 2025 Hajj exercise.
The Executive Secretary, Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu disclosed this in a statement to announce the flag off of the inaugural flight.
The Executive Secretary revealed that UMZA Aviation Services, which is responsible for the Airlifting of the Pilgrims in the State, will on Friday, 9th, May 2025, commence the Airlifting of the 2,881 registered Pilgrims of the State.
He stated that the Board is in full swing, with officials working diligently to ensure that every aspect of the journey is meticulously planned.
According to him, the Board remain focused on its goal of making this year’s Hajj Exercise a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for all Pilgrims in the State.
He lauded the support and commitment of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, who has demonstrated true leadership in all facets.
