The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (OGMPWB) has fixed Wednesday, January 28, 2026, as the final deadline for payment of Hajj fares and completion of registration for the 2026 pilgrimage.
In a statement signed by the Board’s Executive Secretary, Ajibola Taiwo, the total Hajj fare was pegged at ₦7,991,500, stressing that the deadline is final and will be strictly enforced.
Taiwo disclosed that registration for the 2026 Hajj is already ongoing and will close on the same date. He added that the total registration processing fee has been fixed at ₦45,200, broken down as follows: Application Form – ₦20,050; Screening Form – ₦2,550; Medical Fitness Certificate – ₦2,550; and Medical Screening – ₦20,050.
He urged all intending pilgrims to obtain, complete and submit their registration forms promptly to avoid missing the deadline.
Prospective pilgrims seeking further information were advised to visit the Board’s office at Block B, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
