Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Agency says registration for next year’s Hajj exercise has commenced across the 23 local government in the state.
In a radio program monitored in Kaduna, the Public Relations Officer of the Agency, Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi restate the importance of strict adherence to registration guidelines by the twenty-three local government registration officers.
He said intending pilgrims are required to pay a minimum deposit of N8.4 million but are required to make it N8.5 million before 31 December 2024.
The Director of Operations of the Agency, Abubakar Usman Yusuf said that, due to the unique nature of farmers, the Agency has directed its registration officers to collect N4.5 million as a deposit while the remaining balance should be completed after harvesting their crops and within the stipulated time limit.
