Ramadan: Nasarawa Pilgrims Board End First Phase Of Enlightenment Exercise, To Continue In Media Houses

The Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Almakura has announced the closure of the first phase of the 2025 enlightenment exercise for intending pilgrims.

 

He announced this in a statement signed and issued to journalists in Lafia.

 

According to Mallam Almakura, as Ramadan is set to commence soon, enlightenment exercise will continue at the State and Federal media houses in the state to ease difficulties.

 

He maintained that even though the exercise was paused across the thirteen local governments and development areas till after Ramadan, scholars and welfare staff of the board will continue to teach intending pilgrims at home via Radio Stations.

 

Almakura explained that the board has entered into a partnership with two Radio Stations to cover activities of the board for the interest of intending pilgrims.

 

The statement further expressed the commitment of the board to commence visual practical enlightenment across the three senatorial zones of the State to enable intending pilgrims to see practical aspects of Hajj rites.

 

Almakura added that the idea is to ensure that all those who paid their hajj fare were acquainted with all aspects of hajj activities before embarking on the spiritual journey.
