Katsina review pilgrims’ registration deadline, utilize 60 percent allocation

The Katsina State Muslim Pilgrims Board has met with the Zonal coordinators and the local pilgrims’ officers to review the update on the 2025 hajj registration for effective planning

The meeting, which was held at the Headquarters of the board, also discussed the review of pilgrims’ registration deadline and gave an update on other critical arrangements for 2025 hajj

During the meeting, the management was informed that over 60 percent of the seats allocated to the state have been utilised by pilgrims while others still show interest in registering for the 2025 Hajj.

Executive Director of the board, Alh Dankama, urged pilgrims to submit their e-passports for visa processing and also called on pilgrims with deposits to come forward and complete their payments.

Meanwhile, the board has resolved to suspend the pilgrim’s enlightenment Programs for the period of Ramadan and continue the education lectures via media houses

 

The National Hajj Commission NAHCON had allocated 3,567 seats to Katsina State for the 2025 Hajj
