Saudi Arabia Release 2025 Hajj Policy, set 500 pilgrims as minimum for Private Tour Operators

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has released a new hajj policy for accredited Private Tour Operators who wish to partake in the 2025 hajj operations.

This new hajj policy which the South Africa Hajj and Umrah Council has announced stated that “all accredited Hajj Operators who intend to operate in the hajj environment from 2025 onward are required to contract a minimum of 500 pilgrims” 

Furthermore, the South African Hajj and Umrah Council said SAHUC has interfaced with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and appealed for this requirement but we have been informed by the relevant authority in the kingdom that this new policy is a directive across the globe for all operators facilitating hajj”
