The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has released the official Umrah calendar for international pilgrims for the year 1447 AH, outlining key dates and deadlines for agents, pilgrims, and service providers.
According to the ministry, preparations began on 25 Ramadan 1446 AH with the launch of the external agent qualification season via the “Nusuk – Umrah Path.” This was followed by the signing of agreements between Umrah companies and international agents on 16 Shawwal 1446 AH.
Service package design contracts for Umrah pilgrims will commence on 29 Dhul-Qi’dah 1446 AH. Umrah visa issuance and entry into Saudi Arabia is scheduled to begin on 14 Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH, while Nusuk Umrah permits will be available from 15 Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH.
The deadline for receiving applications from external agents and companies to qualify for contracts is set for 1 Sha’ban 1447 AH.
The final date for Umrah visa issuance is 1 Shawwal 1447 AH, while the last date for Umrah pilgrim entry is 15 Shawwal 1447 AH. All Umrah pilgrims are expected to complete their departure by 1 Dhul-Qi’dah 1447 AH.
The calendar is part of broader efforts to enhance service delivery and organization for international pilgrims visiting the Prophet’s Mosque and performing Umrah rites.
