Saudi Hajj Minister Departs Nigeria for Egypt After High-Level Engagements

The Saudi Arabian Minister of #Hajj and #Umrah has departed Nigeria for Egypt following a series of high-level meetings with government officials and stakeholders in Abuja.

 

The minister, who visited Nigeria as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in Hajj and Umrah administration, held engagements with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (#NAHCON), private Hajj operators and other key stakeholders in the pilgrimage sector.

 

During the visit, discussions focused on improving visa processes, enhancing operational coordination and ensuring more efficient and pilgrim-friendly Hajj and Umrah services for Nigerians.

 

Officials who spoke with #HAJJ REPORTERS said the Saudi minister proceeded to Egypt en route to #Saudi Arabia, marking the end of his official visit to Nigeria.

 

Stakeholders described the visit as significant, expressing optimism that the engagements would translate into policy adjustments and improved pilgrimage operations in subsequent #Hajj and Umrah seasons.
