The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs will hold a public hearing as part of the process to Amend the NAHCON Establishment Act 2006.
An invitation seen by HAJJ REPORTERS stated: “The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs invites stakeholders and the general public to a public hearing on A bill for an ACT to amend the NATIONAL HAJJ COMMISSION OF NIGERIA ACT TO INVOLVES STATES OF THE FEDERATION AND THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY IN THE SELECTION OF AIRLINE AGENCIES FOR HAJJ OPERATIONS TO PROMOTE EFFICIENCY ACCOUNTABILITY AND FOR RELATED MATTERS.”
The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, November 21st, 2024, at 2 p.m. in Conference Room 231 of the Senate New Wing National Assembly Complex in Abuja.
Senate President Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio will be the special guest of honour, while Senator Abubakar Sani Bello will serve as Host.
