The Chairman of Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA), Alhaji Aliyu Musa, has emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration in delivering a successful Hajj operation.
Musa made the call in Sokoto during a courtesy visit by the Comptroller of the Nigeria Correctional Service, Sokoto Command, Garba Tsalha Abubakar.
He reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to working with stakeholders to ensure the comfort, safety, and spiritual fulfillment of Sokoto pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj and beyond. “We value the continued support of sister agencies and remain committed to improving the welfare of our pilgrims,” he said.
In his remarks, Abubakar praised Musa for his dedication, noting that the visit highlighted the need for stronger cooperation among government agencies in serving pilgrims effectively.
