The Chairman of the Forum of State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards, Mallam Idris Ahmed Almakura, has declared the Forum’s total support for the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in all initiatives designed to better the welfare of Nigerian pilgrims.
Mallam Almakura gave this assurance in Makkah, where he led Forum members on a pre-Hajj assessment visit. The delegation attended a meeting between NAHCON and accredited service providers in the Holy City.
The meeting outlines crucial service agreements for the upcoming Hajj. Mallam Almakura praised NAHCON’s efforts and affirmed that the State Boards under his Forum are ready to work in lockstep with the Commission to ensure a successful and comfortable Hajj for all Nigerian pilgrims.
“We are determined to support any quest towards improving the welfare of Nigerian Pilgrims,” stated Mallam Almakura, underscoring the collaborative spirit of the visit.
The engagement highlights ongoing preparations and the commitment to a unified operational framework for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
