A Syrian pilgrim, Ghazi Shehadeh” who traveled to Saudi Arabia on bicycle from Germany to perform Umrah is dead.
A Saudi Facebook page, Life in Saudi reported that Shehadeh died in the outskirts of Makkah.
His funeral was done at Masjid Haram and buried at Mualla cemetery, according to the page.
The deceased had reportedly documented everything in the journey on social media before he passed away.
“A Syrian pilgrim, Ghazi Shehadeh set off from Germany to the Holy Kaaba on his bicycle and documented everything on social media about his journey. He died on the outskirts of #Makkah. His funeral was done in Masjid al-Haram, and he was buried in Mualla cemetery,”
