Jigawa State Muslim Welfare Pilgrims Board (JSPWB) on Wednesday said it secured accommodation for the state’s pilgrims close to the Holy Mosque.
The Director General of the Pilgrims Board, Alhaji Ahamed Umar Labbo, announced the development to reporters in Dutse, the state’s capital.
Umar Labbo explained that the accommodation secured for the over 1,000 pilgrims from the state is just a trekkable distance to the Holy Mosque.
He said the accommodation is one of the best secured among Nigerian pilgrim with state-of-the-art facilities to serve the pilgrims better.
“The accommodation is one of the best secured among Nigerian pilgrims, it has everything in place including uninterrupted 24-hours internet connectivity”, Mr Labbo said.
Ahamed Umar Labbo said the Pilgrim Board achieved the fate in its commitments to serve the intending pilgrims from the state with best services needed by the pilgrims.
Labbo commended Governor Umar Namadi for his continued support in prioritizing the welfare of the state pilgrims both at home and in the Holy Land.
