The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has confirmed the successful airlift of 5,086 Nigerian pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj, as of Day 3 of the exercise.
According to an official update released by the Commission early Saturday, all 14 flights conducted so far have landed in Madinah, with none yet to arrive in Jeddah or Makkah. Of the pilgrims airlifted, 3,328 are male while 1,758 are female.
Leading the airlift operations are four airlines — Max Air (1,872 pilgrims), Flynas (1,696), UMZA (719), and Air Peace (799) — all contributing to the ongoing exercise.
Bauchi State tops the list of participating states with 1,322 pilgrims already transported, followed by Kebbi (845), Osun (846), and Nasarawa (716). Abia, Imo, and Adamawa states have joined the process, while many states have yet to commence airlifts.
