Yobe Gov’t Distributes SR300 Hadaya Support to 1,098 Pilgrims for 2025 Hajj

The Yobe State Government has approved and commenced the distribution of 300 Saudi Riyals (SR) to each of the 1,098 pilgrims from the state participating in the 2025 Hajj exercise. The funds are intended for the purchase of Hadaya (sacrificial ram), a mandatory rite in the Hajj pilgrimage. Governor Mai Mala Buni, CON, gave the approval as part of the state's continued support for its pilgrims. The distribution was officially launched by the 2025 Amirul Hajj for Yobe State, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Muhammadu Ibn Grema, the Emir of Tikau at the office of the Executive Chairman of the State Pilgrims Welfare Commission in the holy land. Speaking at the event, the Amirul Hajj urged pilgrims to be exemplary representatives of Yobe State and to offer prayers for peace, unity, and progress in both the state and the country. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to ensuring the welfare, safety, and comfort of pilgrims throughout their stay in the Holy Land. The Emir of Tikau advised the pilgrims to remain orderly, focused, and spiritually devoted during the Hajj rites. He commended the efforts of the state government under Governor Buni’s leadership in making comprehensive arrangements for a successful pilgrimage.
