The Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board has expressed satisfaction with the accommodation and other logistical arrangements secured for the 2025 Hajj in Muna and the Arafat Stand in Makkah.

This followed an inspection tour led by the 2025 Amirul Hajj and Emir of Kagara, Ahmed Garba Gunna (Attahiru II), alongside the Executive Secretary of the board, Muhammad Awwal Aliyu. The officials confirmed that preparations had been concluded ahead of the spiritual exercise.

The facilities, managed by Saudi-based service provider IKRAM ELDAIF, include upgraded tents and sanitation services aimed at ensuring comfort and safety for pilgrims from the state.

Board members, staff, and Area Pilgrims Welfare Officers (APWOs) participated in the assessment, reviewing tent capacity, toilet provisions, and general logistics.

Both the Amirul Hajj and the board’s executive secretary commended the arrangements, describing them as a reflection of the state government’s commitment to ensuring a smooth Hajj experience.

They noted that lessons from previous pilgrimages were incorporated into the current planning to improve overall standards.

The inspection, held in advance of the pilgrims’ arrival, signals the state’s readiness for the 2025 Hajj rites.
