The National Association of Northern Nigerian Students (NANNS) has honoured Hajiya Rabiatu Umar Bako, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Al-Kauthar Travels and Tours Limited, for her outstanding humanitarian contributions and commitment to youth empowerment.
During a courtesy visit to her office, the student delegation outlined NANNS’ community service initiatives, including campaigns against drug abuse, the distribution of learning materials to out-of-school children, and entrepreneurship mentorship for final-year students.
In her response, Hajiya Bako commended the association’s efforts, describing their projects as timely and complementary to government initiatives in youth development. She pledged continued support through mentorship and training partnerships aimed at creating better opportunities for young Nigerians.
Presenting the award, NANNS praised her achievements in business and humanitarian service as a source of inspiration to young women across the country. Both parties expressed optimism about future collaborations to advance education and youth empowerment.
