The Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) has requested clarification from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on camp booking arrangements for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
In a letter dated December 15, 2025, and addressed to the Chairman of NAHCON, the association sought details on the position of private tour operators regarding camp booking as preparations for the next Hajj season gather momentum.
The group commended NAHCON for its efforts in ensuring successful Hajj operations and providing quality services to Nigerian pilgrims. It, however, noted the need for clear information on current arrangements and expectations for tour operators to enable effective planning.
AHUON assured the commission of its readiness to support NAHCON on all Hajj-related matters, stressing its commitment to collaboration aimed at ensuring a smooth and successful pilgrimage for Nigerian pilgrims.
The association said it looks forward to NAHCON’s response to guide its members ahead of the 2026 Hajj operations.
