Bauchi Begins Planning for 2026 Hajj Pilgrims’ Medical Screening

Stakeholders have commenced preparations for the medical screening of intending pilgrims from Bauchi State ahead of the 2026 Hajj exercise.

 

A meeting held at the Ministry of Health in Bauchi brought together representatives of tertiary health institutions and officials of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.

 

The meeting was chaired by the Commissioner of Health, Sani Mohammad Dambam, and focused on planning the physical and medical screening process for intending pilgrims.

 

Officials said the exercise is aimed at ensuring that pilgrims are physically fit and meet all health requirements for participation in the Hajj.

 

The meeting forms part of early preparations to guarantee a smooth and successful 2026 Hajj operation for pilgrims from the state.
