The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced plans to introduce comprehensive Hajj training programmes in Fulani and Kanuri languages beginning in 2026, marking a first in the state’s history.
The initiative aims to improve inclusion and understanding among pilgrims, ensuring a smoother and more accessible Hajj experience.
Director-General Ahmad Umar Labo, said the development was made possible through the support and cooperation of the Jigawa State Government. He assured that the board is committed to delivering a seamless Hajj operation and sustaining the state’s record as one of the leading contributors to the pilgrimage.
