This is to inform all intending pilgrims for the 2027 Hajj from Ondo and other states that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria [NAHCON] has fixed Friday, 26th September 2026 as the final deadline for remittance of Hajj fares and conclusion of registration.
In line with NAHCON’s directive, the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board hereby announces as follows:
1. INITIAL DEPOSIT
All intending pilgrims are to pay an initial deposit of ₦6m and above into the Board’s official bank account.
Note: NAHCON minimum is ₦5,000,000. States paying higher initial deposits will be better positioned to balance up once the final fare is announced b4 the deadline.
- MODE OF PAYMENT
Payment should be made via Bank Draft drawn in favour of:
Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board
Payments in cash or to private/unauthorized accounts will NOT be accepted. The Board will not be responsible for losses from such payments.
- REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
– Valid International Passport (valid till at least December 2027)
– National Identification Number [NIN]
– Medical certificate of fitness
– Hajj form
- DEADLINE
The deadline for payment of the initial deposit and final payment is 26th of September, 2026 while submission of documents listed above is on or b4 15th of September, 2026
No registration or payment will be accepted after this date. Latecomers will have to wait for the 2028 Hajj.

Early payment will enable the Board to meet NAHCON’s timeline for visa processing, accommodation, and airlift arrangements with Saudi authorities.
