Multiple-Entry Umrah Visa Holders Must Book a Package Before Travel

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has clarified that pilgrims using a multiple-entry Umrah visa must book an approved service package before travelling to the Kingdom.

Having a valid multiple-entry Umrah visa alone is not enough to complete the journey. Pilgrims are required to arrange the necessary services through an approved provider before each trip to Saudi Arabia.

The multiple-entry Umrah visa is valid for 365 days from the date of issuance and allows holders to enter Saudi Arabia multiple times during its validity.

However, the total period a pilgrim can stay in Saudi Arabia under the visa is limited to 90 days within the one-year validity period.

For every visit, pilgrims must purchase an approved service package through a service provider available on the Nusuk platform. The duration of the package cannot exceed the number of permitted stay days remaining on the visa.

Pilgrims must also obtain the required Umrah permit through the Nusuk app before entering Saudi Arabia. The permit date should match the dates covered by the approved service package.

For the first visit, the process begins with purchasing a service package from an approved provider through Nusuk. The visa application is then submitted for processing by the relevant authorities.

Before boarding, the pilgrim’s travel eligibility may be verified. Entry details are recorded upon arrival in Saudi Arabia and updated when the pilgrim leaves the country, while the remaining permitted stay under the visa is calculated accordingly.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah introduced the multiple-entry option to provide pilgrims with greater flexibility in planning their visits while ensuring that accommodation and other required Umrah services are arranged through approved channels.
