Private Hajj bookings in Pakistan have gained momentum after most licensed Hajj organizing companies uploaded their packages to the government’s digital portal, following directives from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The ministry has finalized 16 basic package options under the private Hajj scheme, giving pilgrims greater flexibility in choosing accommodation, flight arrangements, and the duration of their stay in Saudi Arabia.
According to the ministry, private Hajj packages this year range from Rs. 1.4 million to Rs. 3.75 million, depending on the services and facilities included.
The packages include short-duration Hajj options, direct flights from countries where pilgrims are residing and premium packages featuring five-star accommodation.
The range is intended to cater to different budgets and preferences.
Book Through Official Digital Channels
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has directed pilgrims to select their preferred package and make payments exclusively through the official Hajj digital portal or the Pak Hajj app.
Pilgrims have also been warned against making payments directly to individuals or Hajj companies outside the designated digital system.
The ministry said it would not be responsible for any financial loss resulting from payments made through unauthorized channels.
71,684 Seats Allocated
A total of 71,684 seats have been allocated to private Hajj operators under this year’s scheme.
Pilgrims must select their package and complete payment by November 20, which has been set as the deadline for private Hajj bookings.
The ministry has also retained the authority to reallocate the quota of any Hajj organizing company that fails to utilize its allocated seats within the stipulated timeframe.
With bookings now accelerating, intending pilgrims are advised to complete the process through the authorized digital channels before the deadline to secure their preferred package and services.
