More than 520 public, private and non-profit organisations from over 150 countries are participating in the sixth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Saudi Arabia.
The figures were disclosed by the Spokesperson of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Dr Ghasan bin Rashed Al-Nowaimi, during a press briefing on November 7, 2026.
According to the ministry, the conference has evolved into an international platform bringing together decision-makers and specialists to explore development opportunities in the Hajj and Umrah sector.
The exhibition covers more than 67,000 square metres, featuring over 15 major zones and programmes designed to showcase developments and opportunities within the pilgrimage ecosystem.
The ministry also announced the introduction of an Awareness and Training Forum at this year’s event, with the theme, “From Awareness to Empowerment.”
It said the initiative was designed to strengthen awareness and training, while supporting efforts to improve knowledge and capacity across the Hajj and Umrah sector.
The conference is held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, reflecting the Saudi leadership’s commitment to serving the Two Holy Mosques.
The ministry further emphasised that the value of the conference should not be measured only by the scale of participation or activities, but by the impact it delivers beyond the event.
The Hajj Conference and Exhibition brings together stakeholders across the pilgrimage industry to discuss developments, partnerships and ways of improving services for pilgrims.
