After spending 45 days, Bangladesh, Malaysian, Pakistan pilgrims still in Saudi Arabia

The first batch of pilgrims from Bangladesh and Malaysia who arrived the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the 21st of May 2023 are yet to depart for their various countries.

 

The first set of pilgrims from Bangladesh numbering 419 arrived Saudi Arabia in Jeddah on the 21st of May 2023 through Makkah Route initiative at the Hajj terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport.

 

On the same day, another flight carrying 456 pilgrims from Pakistan’s Islamabad International Airport via the Makkah Route initiative arrived at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.

Another flight carrying 418 the first batch of Malaysian pilgrims also arrived in Madinah on 21st May.

They were received by the director of the Madinah region passport department, Maj. Gen. Talal Al-Dabbasi, and the undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for visiting affairs in Madinah, Mohammed Al-Bijawi

 

Hajj Reporters reports that as at today, only 333 out of over 1,498 Bangladesh, Pakistan  and Malaysian pilgrims have been returned home via Flynas Airline that landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) at around 7:00 pm on 2nd of July 2022 after spending 45 days in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
