Barring any amendment to the NAHCON’s 2025 hajj calendar of events, the 1st batch of Nigeria pilgrims to Saudi Arabia will depart on the 1st Dhul Qidah which is the 29th of April 2025
Likewise, the first set of return flights carrying Nigerian pilgrims is expected to depart the King Abdulaziz International Airport back to Nigeria on the 12th of June 2025 while the last flight of Nigeria Pilgrims is planned to depart Makkah to King Abdulaziz International Airport en route to Nigeria on the 1st of July 2025
The NAHCON hajj calendar is a schedule of a timeline of events carefully mapped out to terminate on the Arafat day and also gives details schedules on how various hajj activities will be executed.
Though HAJJ REPORTERS understand that the hajj calendar is not an ironclad tradition and that it is subject to change and can be altered to suit the needs of the hajj operations.
Meanwhile, The Saudi Arabia General Civil Aviation Authority GACA will open the King Abdulaziz International Airport for the Hajj flight on Tuesday 29 April 2025 with the last flight to the Kingdom expected to arrive on Saturday 31 May 2025.
Also, the first return flight will begin on the Tuesday 10th of June 2025 and the last flight is expected to take off from King Abdulaziz International Airport on Thursday 10th of July 2025
