The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board today organised an enlightenment programme for its pilgrims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in preparations for the Muna/Arafat programme.
The programme is in continuation of this year’s hajj activities.
Saudi Arabian authorities have already declared Saturday August 9, as Arafat day.
Nigerian pilgrims are expected to start moving to Mina, where most Hajj rites are onserved on Thursday, August 9.
The Executive Secretary of Kwara Pilgrims Board, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde-Jimoh disclosed that the hard is organising the enlightenment to aid pilgrims on the do’s and don’t essentials of Hajj.
He made the disclosure through a telephone chat with our reporter on Wednesday.
He said that all pilgrims would be transported to Muna in the early hours of Friday and proceed to Arafat on Saturday.
The Executive Secretary added that the programme would equally feature special prayer for Kwara state and entire Nigeria
He said that all Kwara pilgrims are hale and hearty.
