The Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser received this morning the first flights of Hajj pilgrims for the year 1446 AH at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
The flight, carrying 396 pilgrims from Dhaka, Bangladesh, is one of several flights scheduled to arrive today via Jeddah Airport and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
Al-Jasser stated, “Six main airports have been allocated to serve the pilgrims, including King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah, Prince Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Yanbu, Taif International Airport, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.”
He emphasized that flights will continue until the beginning of the month of Dhu Al-Hijjah, facilitated by an integrated system of services aimed at easing the pilgrims’ journey from their arrival until their departure, thereby enhancing the Kingdom’s leading position in serving the two holy mosques and worshippers.
