The first batch of 482 pilgrims from Adamawa State has safely arrived in Mecca from Madina, marking a smooth transition in their Hajj journey.
The pilgrims were warmly received at the Nusuk Al Safi Hotel by members of the state’s accommodation committee, Alhaji Adamu Ahmed, Alhaji Barkindo Abdullahi Yakubu, and Aisha Saad, Information Officer, alongside the hotel staff.
Welcoming arrangements were coordinated by Ekram Al Dayf Company, whose representatives (Mudawwaf) collected each pilgrim’s passport and provided identification wristbands for security and tracking purposes. In collaboration with Muwasem AlKhairat, the two companies hosted a grand reception featuring delicious food, fruits, dates, and assorted gifts for the pilgrims.
The accommodation committee distributed hotel key cards and complimentary materials to designated local government officers to help pilgrims access their assigned rooms with ease.
Pilgrims were elated to find their accommodations equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including free Wi-Fi and high-end furnishings, earning praise for the Adamawa State Government and the Executive Secretary of the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu, for securing top-quality lodging in the heart of Makka.
“We feel at home,” said one of the pilgrims, expressing gratitude for the excellent arrangements that made their spiritual journey more comfortable and memorable.”
