The Nigerian crew of Flynas, designated by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to airlift Kaduna State intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj, has conducted a comprehensive safety training session for the pilgrims in Kaduna.
In a statement signed by the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Datti Makarfi, the agency said the training, held on Saturday, focused on aircraft safety procedures, airport regulations and general travel guidelines to ensure a smooth and secure journey.
Head of the Nigerian Crew, Maryam Yunusa, who led the delegation, stressed the importance of strict compliance with both national and international airport policies. She also enlightened the pilgrims on aircraft safety measures and outlined the dos and don’ts of airport and in-flight procedures.
Zonal Coordinator, NAHCON Kaduna Zonal Office, Yusuf Balele, described the demonstration as vital and a major component of pilgrims’ enlightenment programmes. He commended the airline and the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency for their sustained efforts in preparing intending pilgrims for the sacred journey.
Also in attendance were Head of Enlightenment, Abubakar Alhassan; Staff Officer of the agency, Rakiya S. Ladan; and other officials.
