The former Director of information of Borno State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Lawan Chiroma Abatcha has been appointed as Senior Special Assistant on Pilgrims to the Governor of Borno State, His Excellency Gov Babagana Zulum
The appointment was contained in a letter dated 21 February 2025, signed by the Permanent Secretary Administration and General Services, Dr Muhammad Aminu Guluze, on behalf of the Secretary to the State Government.
“Your appointment is based on merit, wealth of experience, dedication to duty and service to the state”
Before the appointment, Lawan Abatcha served at the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare board where he rose to become the Director of Information.
The Gov urge the Lawan Chiroma Abatcha to justify his appointment by upholding the dignity of the office and carry out his responsibilities diligently”
The appointment is with immediate effect
