Hajj 2024: Committee pledges support for Katsina pilgrims’ board

The newly constituted religious affairs committee of the Katsina State House of Assembly has pledge support for the smooth running of activities for the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board.

 

The committee, led by its new chairman Hon Umar Ali Bindawa, during a familiarization visit to the board assured its readiness to have an harmonious working relationship with the board especially during the Hajj exercise.

 

Speaking during the visit, Bindawa said they are in the pilgrim’s welfare board to present themselves to the management of the board as the new constituted house committee on religious affairs and seek for cooperation towards achieving their set target.

 

Responding the Executive Director of the board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki, congratulated them for their appointment. He assured them of the boards support and cooperation at all the times, urging them to assist the board always whenever the need arises.

 

Alhaji Kuki who spoke extensively on the contribution rendered to the board by previous committees during hajj operation urged them to emulate them.
