The Hajj agency of Bangladesh announced on 17 December 2024 that the registration period for Hajj pilgrims, whether through public or private arrangements, has been extended from the original deadline of 19 December to 26 December 2024, Wego reports.
During this extended period, pilgrims can complete their preliminary registration by depositing Taka three lakhs. At the same time, the agency strongly encourages pilgrims to pay the full amount of their selected Hajj package and complete the final registration process within this timeframe to avoid any delays.
This extension was granted in response to requests from Hajj agencies and aspiring pilgrims who sought additional time to complete their preparations. However, the Hajj agency emphasized that this would be the final extension and that no further extensions would be granted.
