The Indonesian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will organized a training program for Hajj Service Officers for Saudi Arabia for the 2026 Hajj season. The training will take place from Sunday, January 10, until February 9.
Director General of Hajj and Umrah Services Development, Puji Raharjo, stated that the training aims to improve the quality of services provided by Hajj officers to pilgrims.
“This year’s Hajj officer training will place greater emphasis on service-related duties and functional roles,” Puji Raharjo said at the Pondok Gede Hajj Dormitory in Jakarta on Friday.

He added that participant discipline will be strengthened with support from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri).
Through this training, he hopes that all participants will develop a strong spirit of service, understand the fundamentals of Hajj administration, master Hajj jurisprudence (fiqh), and be able to communicate in Arabic.
The total number of prospective Hajj officers for the 2026 Hajj season reaches 1,554 participants.
