The Executive Secretary Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris has been awarded as a best performing Executive Secretary in Bauchi by Jarawa joint initiative group.
Presenting the Integrity Compliance award to the Executive Secretary yesterday at the conference hall of the Board, the chairlady of the group Hajia Aishatu Adamu said the award was in recognition of his contribution to ensure that the Governor Bala Abdulkadir administration’s vision to provide welfare services to State pilgrims is achieve through his active service.
Hajia Aishatu noted that Imam Abdurrahman has introduced numerous programmes, initiatives and policies that impacted positively on the lives of state pilgrims during hajj operation.
She enjoined the Executive Secretary not to relent in supporting the Governor to deliver services to Bauchi citizens.
Receiving the award, the Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris thanked the group for finding him worthy for the prestigious award of excellence.
He described the award as a moral booster and further acknowledged the award and other awards he received as evidence for the commitment of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad administration to the wellbeing of State pilgrims during Hajj operation.
Imam Abdurrahman hailed the group for promoting the activities of the Governor, expressed readiness to support them to achieve their set objectives.
