The President of Hajj and Umrah Tour Operator’s Union, HUTUON Alh Awwal Muhammed said “The primary objective of the association is promoting the interest of pilgrims to get the best available services during performance of Umrah or Hajj exercises.
Alh Awwal who spoke to HAJJ REPORTER after its courtesy visit to NAHCON said the association has met all the legal requirements and is now fully operational and ready to register more members who have been calling to be part of the group
“Yes, we just met with the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission and its Executives. The Chairman has expressed the commission’s willingness to work with us. We also make it clear that we are not in competition with any other group but rather protect the interests of pilgrims by encouraging our members to offer the best possible services to their respective clients—the pilgrims.
We will also fully cooperate with other important stakeholders, such as NAHCON, State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards, and the Hajj Media stakeholders, to promote cohesiveness and foster cordial relations. We believe that the Hajj Industry is part of the same family, and we need to be futuristic in our approach.
