The Independent Hajj Reporters of Nigeria has appointed a new legal adviser as part of efforts to strengthen its institutional advocacy and legal framework.
In a letter dated November 25, 2025, the association formally requested the Principal Counsel of Sadau Garba and Company, Barristers and Solicitors, to serve as its legal adviser whenever the need arises.
The request, signed by the National Coordinator of the association, Ibrahim Muhammad, stated that the decision followed a nomination by the National Executive Council and the Board of Trustees of Independent Hajj Reporters. The leadership cited the legal practitioner’s wealth of experience and strong background in civil society organisation activities as key factors behind the appointment.
