The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that it has concluded all hajj preparations, and the state’s intending pilgrims will depart from Dutse Airport for Saudi Arabia.
The Director General of the Board, Alhji Ahmed Umar Labbo, made this known shortly after the material distribution to the intending pilgrims on Friday in Dutse was completed.
He revealed that all preparations at the state level have been completed after all the state’s intending pilgrims received their uniforms and other materials needed at the Holy Land.
According to him, accommodation and catering services for the pilgrims have already been arranged in Saudi Arabia.
Umar Labbo confirmed that all the state pilgrims have taken their vaccination and the Board has handed over all their rightful belongings, including uniforms, bags and other valuables.
Umar Labbo also commended the facilitators for educating the pilgrims on Hajj rituals and expectations.
He urged the pilgrims to perform Hajj with reverence, patience, and fear of Allah for a successful journey.
