Bauchi State has successfully airlifted its second batch of 385 pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to Madina, further advancing its operations for this year’s holy journey.
The pilgrims departed from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport aboard a Max Air flight.
Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, expressed satisfaction with the screening process and lauded the pilgrims’ cooperation.
He extended gratitude to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his unwavering support, as well as to the Commissioner of Religious Affairs, the Amirul Hajj team, and other stakeholders for their dedication.
Imam Idris noted that the Hajj process has been smooth so far and reaffirmed that Bauchi State is scheduled to complete its operations in five flights.
